Youth Parliament

One of Colmcille’s flagship projects has been the Gaelic Youth Parliament bringing together students from Ireland and Scotland at gatherings on the island of Islay and the Isle of Skye in Scotland and in Derry, Armagh, Carraroe and Cork in Ireland.

Ri Chèile

For a number of years Colmcille has supported an annual public speaking event in Scottish and Irish Gaelic for junior secondary level students.

Lasair Acting Workshops

Lasair was an initiative principally sponsored by Colmcille to create a three-week intensive drama course and summer school in Gaeilge and Gàidhlig for young people
